Waking Sky Psychiatry is dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized mental health care to individuals aged 18 years and older. Kristin Kenyon is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in treating mental health conditions. She believes in a patient-centered and collaborative approach to care and works closely with clients to develop personalized plans to meet their unique needs.
ACCELERATED RESOLUTION THERAPY (ART)
ART is a type of therapy that utilizes back-and-forth eye movements, somatic experiencing, and image replacement of distressing images.
ART has been shown to be effective in PTSD, anxiety, depression, phobias, addiction, and OCD.
ART is effective in 1-5 sessions. The client is always in control of what is happening and can choose whether or not to share their most distressing memories.
